1 1/2 c. flour 1 c. sugar 1 tsp. baking soda 3 tbsp. cocoa 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 tsp. vinegar 1 c. warm water 5 tbsp. melted shortening MILE HIGH FROSTING: 1 c. white Karo syrup 1 egg white 2 tsp. vanilla
Directions:
Mix Ingredients together and bake in an 8 inch square pan at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. MILE HIGH FROSTING: Beat until stands in peaks in electric mixer. Spread on cooled cake.
